One night, after your new life together has begun, you’re lying in bed, just about to drift off... when Lara quietly enters the room.
“Are you awake? Are you asleep?” she whispers.
You don’t respond—half-asleep—but then she gently takes your hand, presses it against her cheek, and smiles. At that moment, it really feels like the bond between you two is real.
In this episode, Lara affectionately calls the player “Ruu-kun.” It’s later revealed that she’s always used that name in previous stories too. This kind of character-specific nickname helps create a much stronger emotional connection than simply using “you.” Whether it’s “big brother,” “senpai,” or a personal nickname, it draws you deeper into the narrative and makes everything feel more personal.
